Hello everyone!

First of all, I'd like to thank  you all for the support on the Pixelarium project!    We have reached 200+ downloads during the first year, which I'm truly grateful for!

As some of you may know, I've been very busy with finishing my PhD, which meant I had to put all side projects  on hold. I'm now very happy to announce that I'm (almost!) done with the thesis (my PhD viva is now scheduled for October) and that I'll finally have more time to work on the new tileset for Pixelarium.   I had already worked a bit on the new tileset, which I'd like to share a sneak peek of today.

The second tileset will be  sci-fi themed! I have already started working on  some simple base tiles for a city environment, which I'd then like to turn into ruins to give a  dystopian  , post-apocalyptic feel.  The one thing I'm super excited about is humanoid robots.  In the sneak peek here you can see a very early draft of  them. They are supposed to be somewhat menacing (they are  twice as tall as the main character).   I've also   worked a bit on   alien nature:   I   have tried to draw    an alien tree and I'd like to work on various bushes/foliage with a somewhat  uncommon color palette.   I'm following a similar workflow and conventions as the previous tileset so that you'll be able to combine the previous one with this one ;)
